What will you be doing?
The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for:
Design, implement and manage cybersecurity solutions to protect business systems and data.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses.
Monitor systems for suspicious activity and respond quickly to security incidents.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Keep security systems up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies to counter emerging threats.
Provide training and advice to corporate personnel on cybersecurity best practices.
Your qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related field.
Proven experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability management.
In-depth knowledge of security protocols, network technologies, and cryptography.
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and malware analysis tools.
Expertise in conducting penetration tests and risk assessments.
Ability to analyze system and network logs to identify suspicious activity.
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different company functions.
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
